Lime Crime makes these fantastic colorful, bright, and vivid lipsticks. They’re like tubes of frosting! I know I definitely couldn’t pull off some (MOST!) of these shades (on any other day besides Halloween) but it doesn’t stop me from loving them and wishing I could. Best part, they’re Peta certified cruelty free. Black lipstick never looked so sweet and pretty and I’m kind of obsessing over this grandma orange shade.

I find that it is WAY harder to think of a gift for my pop for Father’s Day than it is to find one for my mother on Mother’s Day, so I’ve started thinking about it early. In my research I came across this vegan brand of men’s grooming products. I’m thinking this just may be the gift. Read their ‘about us’ section. Very cool company! Has anyone personally tried their products or know anyone that has? I’d love to know what you/they thought. Raves or nays?

In case anyone else is having any manly gift idea woes I’m going to keep up the search. I’ll continue to post my findings here. And, if you have any good ideas please do share!

Are you familiar with MothLove? if you aren’t, we really think you should be! Designer Gretchen Jones creates absolutely breathtaking clothes. Her upcoming autumn/ winter collection made our hearts palpitate. Her designs are always clean and modern while still being utterly romantic and bohemian. We cannot wait to debut her pieces in the shop this fall! We know your heart will skip a beat as well.

We just received the Nixxi scoop neck tees in the other day. We had a small fiasco with the Canadian Post losing the package for awhile. But, they are in now, and let me just tell you they are sweet and slouchy perfection. Besides having the most fantastic shape, these tees are soft as silk (without the wormy murder). And, thank goodness they come in three colors. Since receiving them, I have been living in their comfy awesomeness.

I am totally covering up the cropped hemlline, but I quite like the top tucked in. A friend called me 30 minutes before her lunch break to see if I wanted to grab a bite. I was 30 minutes away and nowhere near being ready to leave the house. I grabbed my newly trusty Nixxi tee, hopped in my mociun skirt, threw a few accessories on, and wound my hair into a bun. I was only 10 minutes late meeting her and looked like I spent more than 30 seconds getting ready. Success!

This video is over a year old, but I just saw it a few days ago for the first time. My heart melted all over the place. Life is wonderful with a best friend! Now, I'm off to see Oceans with mine. Happy Earth Day everyone!
